Taken from Audrey’s FB post:

“The hardest and last David update: David passed away today. He fought like hell for the past 7 months, but things were stacking up against him and frankly, he was just tired. He gave me 16 of the best years of my life and I wouldn't trade a minute of it. I want to thank our village that moved mountains for me during this time and for everyone that reached out offering their condolences. He was definatley a force to be reckoned with and I am thankful he chose me to spend his life with. I love you Pinto.”

Prayers for David, Audrey, their friends and family.

Edit: David had post-surgery complications and afaik, never went home.
