On hiatus, former active forum member, USNGunner / Vince, asked me iffin’ I heard anything about the Katman’s website. About 3 weeks ago Phil posted a rather cryptic message:

I know he was having some financial issues which led to his request for donations but didn’t think his site’s demise would come so soon.

For those that follow Phil, was there anything else beforehand that mighta hinted at trouble(s) ahead? 🤔

He was in a cigar chat group I'm in and a week or two before he shut down he was talking about winding down or stopping. The cost of doing the reviews was a part of it, but also he had a stroke and has been in declining health with a recent dementia diagnosis. He also disappeared from that chat group after that night and not long after, put up the post on his website.
