It's not often I have a problem with a wrapper and if I do I usually just lick it and stick it. Today I tore the wrapper on an AF Anejo taking the sleeve off so I tried the old honey trick. I put honey on a toothpick, spread the honey under the wrapper, and stuck it back down. It worked great. The wrapper stayed stuck and smoked right through it.

I've tried honey before, now I made my own cigar glue and use that as needed. It's not too often I need it, typically it's only if I cut too much of the cap off. Both work well for sure.

Sooooo you gonna share the recipe? I’ve got a rolling kit but it’s still sealed. Came with some white powder for glueing Just never tried it

Organic, infused, commercial, or raw honey? What type? - dandelion, buckwheat, wildflower, orange blossom, alfalfa, etc.? Need more details

i've used honey too. When I didn't have honey, I've used a grain of white rice, smashing it into a starchy paste with a wet finger and spreading a dab under the loose leaf.

edit: should have said "cooked white rice"... uncooked rice grains don't become pasty very easily and may require mortar and pestle... by that time, you may lose all interest in finishing the cigar

Delta, I'm going to try your rice trick.

Lee, I used honey from a local farm that grows the sweetest, most tender, delicious corn around, but alfalfa or Z's funny honey would work.

MJ, I can see how egg whites would work but kind of a long process.
