Just had one of these yesterday, and it was really good. Creamy cocoa, molasses, and coffee notes with a great ash and consistent burn. What's the consensus on these? Anybody else enjoying these?

Yes, a while back (couple years??) I was scoring the 10-packs from the other auction place at $33ish.
Good knock around cigar, but I found that about 1 out of 5 was just………off…….for lack of a better term.
Crappy burn, or funky taste, or both.
I moved on from them, but still a good deal, even if the occasional one is funky.
As far as Kristoff, I now only buy the Sumatra and the Ligero Maduro.

I like Kristoff's stuff. The signature are good. Most of them are good, to be honest. They can be ever so slightly mild for me, so I don't smoke them as much as I should. Might have to break one out soon.

Got a few of them, just can't get around to spark one up yet.

I had one a few years ago. I dont remember what it was, but it made zero impact, and in fact I didnt care for the construction. But this Signature Series really jazzed me.

Used to smoke a lot of Corojo, ligero Corojo, maduro, maduro Ligero and GCs.

Had some consistency issues in tobacco and construction and then the prices went up, quit buying them.

Got a basic Kristoff sampler pack three years back and I wasn’t impressed with them.

went through the line-up of offerings several years ago, fivers of each...none motivated me to get more...most disappointed with the Kristoff Pistoff...

Fired up a GC robusto today - no construction issues or problems - mild to medium good smoke paired with rum coke. Should have 7 more - will try again when mu palate is better.

Mild to medium? Thought they touted this one as med-full?

Z……………….it’s Tony.
He smokes a lot of cigars.
He considers a double ligero maduro a medium, possibly medium full smoke.

Well yeah but there is always the QC consistency issue with Kristoff…..

Regarding the QC issues, Ive had two Kristoffs so far. One practically fell apart on me, and made zero impression. This last one was damn near perfect (personal taste, of course, but the burn, construction, etc was spot on). so yeah Im going to agree that there are likely plenty of qc issues. I ordered a 5ver and will let them rest a few months. See what happens.

No complaints about the one I smoked- but it was the third smoke of the day and probably had a year or ore of aging.

That makes sense, I was just shocked because in my mind I thought I had a good idea of what they were listed as.

I’ll forget to grab something on my way out the door, but I’ll remember a persons phone number from 20 years ago or any number of random useless facts. It’s like a steel trap, but with lightening holes machined in it….

I know all about that! Can’t remember my own phone number

Well I smoked one last night that had almost 2.5 years on it.
It was worth the $3.20 I paid.
First third was rather dull, then it got better, ramped up a bit in flavor and strength.

That said, I wont be buying again, even at $3ish each.
