I randomly came across these on cigarpage And was pleasantly surprised. I’ve been working my way through all the deadwood cigars by Drew Estates And have been enjoying how different they are from Drew Estates’ Acid Cigars. Acids are just overpoweringly sweet. Where as the deadwood series I’ve actually been able to taste the cigar rather than feeling like I’m sucking on candy. I just started really getting into smoking cigars, maybe four or five months ago so I’m still figuring out what I do and don’t like. I almost wouldn’t consider the deadwood series to be Fully infused, but maybe somewhere in the middle. Some guy at the shop told me that he would consider them more aromatic rather than infused… Not really sure what that means

I Haven’t found anything From the acid series that I would go out of my way to buy again, but I did just ordered a pack of acid 20 maduros. Does anyone have an opinion on those? Are the Connecticuts better? Is there an acid Cigar out there that I absolutely have to try?

Hi! Not many people on here smoke flavored cigars, if they can get out of it.🇨🇮 Some people started that way, but like you, started seeing that they actually like the flavor of the tobacco better than the stuff that people adulterate tobacco with. I honestly can't tell you the last time I saw someone on here say that they smoked an Acid cigar.

You might want to try grabbing some plain cigars here on Cbid and seeing what you think. I strongly suggest that whatever you buy, flavored or regular, stick to singles and five packs for a while until you figure out where your tastes lie. Oh, and you should introduce yourself. Tony might want to ask you some questions. Remember, the right answer is always "waffles."

I've never tried Acid cigars, I tried a Sweet Jane once but it was too sweet for me. Drew Estate Tabak Especial Negra (maduro) was the cigar that got me started on my cigar journey. I had tried cigars over the years but never had the urge to buy any then one of my cousins gave me a Tabak Negra and I really liked it and still do. I keep separate storage just for the Tabak, mostly for when my cousin comes over but I'll pull one out for myself here and there. It's a good cigar, the Red Eye is good too.

Welcome aboard!

Most people, who end up getting into cigars, will ultimately move away from infused cigars, or cut waaay back, maybe smokimg a coffee flavored cigar a couple times a month.
Don’t invest too heavily in them, your palate will evolve.
And no, there isn’t a single Acid cigar you absolutely need to try…………..they all suq azz.

I think I’ve smoked two, mebbe 3 Acids. Unmemorable other than the fact that if I hadn’t been gifted them, I’d never have tried them.

Off topic but when I initially saw the thread’s title, I thought of the Velvet Underground song. My favorite version of it:
