Does anyone understand the concept of "auction?" Because I keep seeing stuff go for almost, or at retail, by the time the bidding is over. Y'all do realize that the point of an auction is to get something cheaper than retail? Or that there's an endless amount of lots to bid on? Meaning y'all ain't gotta run it up to the top. The whole concept is to save money. Just saying. You wanna pay as close to retail as possible, go ahead. I'm still over here catching sick deals. But damn, I think some of y'all need a heads up about how an auction goes. If you wanna be that close to retail, then just pay retail. But ffs. I can't even count how many $5-$6 pouches of pipe tobacco go for $5-6 or even a tad over. Wtaf? If you're gonna do that, why be on an auction site? Just my old ornery observation. But I've been an auctioneer for about a decade and I've never seen such madness. We're not bidding on fully restored muscle cars or fine art. It's fricken tobacco y'all. Come on now.

Great first post!!!

You should private message Celticbomber and let him know, he is the CS officer around here.

How do you feel about gladiator movies? Have you seen a grown man naked? Ever been to a Turkish prison? Do you prefer pancakes or waffles (waffles are for homosexual communists).

Please bid on an Enter key.

That was way to hard to read while I am gloriously overbidding on CBid.

Losing a bid is a sign of weakness. You either deal with it or write long posts crying about it.

Damn, wait until this fella finds out that people who win bids get all the babes.

Apparently the OP is not a very good auctioneer. Most auctioneers try to get as much as they can in an auction.

is Nate related to 1020? Prolly not, since he doesn't bear any resemblance to the understated, informed and reasonable Commie 7.

appreciate your passion StogieNate, but all the knuckleheads you're ranting at do not live here, although their buying behavior makes this community possible. We CBid Forum community members don't very often bid on the auction site, since we've moved on from most of the offerings sold here. And when we do bid on something, however infrequently...we win. But we enjoy watching the show outside, especially the very people you're railing against...so...shhhh!

Having said that, and seeing as how you've been given a provisional invite ...
