Anybody making any resolutions this year? Anyone going to smoke a different type of cigar for 365 days straight? Anyone going to retire any storage containers?

My resolution is to continue last year's resolution, which is to smoke a gifted cigar every Friday. I did well with this last year, only missed a couple of days, but quickly made them up. Including the extras I smoked, it was probably 75-100 gifted cigars last year, but I received so many, I'm pretty sure I have more now than I did when I started. 🐴

Baby steps here. I'd like to go just 1 month without buying cigars online.

I'm resolving to continue with IR9, which began in October 2024 when I promised to stop buying cigars until Father's Day 2025. I desperately need to trim my stash...dig up some old forgotten cigars and torch them....retire a few storage containers. By the end of the year, my hoard should be manageable enough for me to organize it and do an inventory...

I’m with JGRAZ here. Baby steps. January seems like a good a time as any to initiate a buying pause. I’ll think on the subject more and if I think of something that gives me sufficient concern to make a resolution I’ll post it here.

Should probably change the title a bit.

As far as NY resolutions, buy less, smoke more. I want to ash up more of my favorites while smoking down my gifted ‘gars too.

I resolve to continue my work in direct contrast to IR9. I mean, Lee's $10 is at stake. That's a whole dang Big Mac value meal

Smoke down the oldies and pause any buying. So far I haven't bought any cigars this year, despite a temptation.

You fought off that temptation for a day so far. Good start.

Personally, I don't smoke cigars as often than I used to and I have plenty to last for quite some time with my current usage so I don't see myself buying any in the near term.

Smoke the gifted cigars. I thought I did pretty good on that. I still have a pile of them too. Did some rearranging tonight. **** I’ve got a bunch

Sooo. I would like to smoke some partial boxes down. Maybe do some more trades this year.

I won the lotto on the brotherly site so looks like I’ll be getting bombed pretty hard there. More gifted smokes. Hell of a problem to have 😂

Last year I had two goals.

Smoke 365 different cigars.

Rebuild a 5 year stash.

I achieved the first, but in doing so it moved the 5 year stash from about 750- 1000 cigars to 2500+ so that didn't happen with the new goalposts.

Smoke more than last year.. I slowed down over the past couple years but I found myself at the Macanudo Club in Bossier City several times the past couple months.. Definitely brought my interst back...🇨🇮

I've always wanted to try the old Lewinsky.
