Anyone seeing the WI excise tax added to their bill? Is it a $0.50 per stick tax?? Wow!!

I heard it's a SIN tax.
You must atone for the sin of smoking cigars by sacrificing to the state.

Trying living in Pennsylvania....
Where CI AND CIGARBID ARE LOCATED..
I PAY 6% TAX MORE ON MY TOTAL ORDER
AND THE SHIPPING COST IS AS MUCH AS SENDING IT to California sometimes even though I'm 100 or less away from both...

But... the cigar priced are the best most of the time...
I haven't ordered in years..I have three 50 quart coolidors filled to the top each...and I'm 68...I don't need anymore except for a certain few brand and vitolas...

Like ROBUSTO DEL LARGA...TISSUE WRAPPED..
EL RAY DEL MUNDO...THOSE I GET WHEN THEY RUN OUT...

Few years back the big guys started collecting excise tax to Indiana. About 40%. So I had to find smaller places to order from. Then this summer a lot of those places started collecting excise tax to Indiana as well.

Be grateful your state legislators at least threw you a bone and put a per cigar cap on the taxes. I get $4 tax on a $10 cigar. I'd love to pay just $0.50 per.
