While I expect Trump will act like he hit a bases-loaded home run with the announcement that Taiwan Semiconductor and Apple will invest over $.7 trillion in new plants and equipment in the US, the truth is he had zero to do with their plans. Living in the Phoenix area I have been watching the construction of the first $40 billion TSMC fab for 4 years and it is now producing the most advanced 4 nano chips starting in second half of 2024. TSMC bought many times the land needed for this first fab and later announced an additional $25 billion expansion. These fabs take many years to develop and the expansion plans have been baked into their growth projections for years as well.

One of the incentives given to TSMC was a $6.5 billion infrastructure and tax package in the Bidon BBB bill at the taxpayer’s expense of course. Another was a provision for a 25% tax reduction for new announcements before 2026. I’m pretty sure the main driver was a need to get more manufacturing out of Taiwan with China breathing down their necks.

In doing so, it should create more jobs in the USA and bring more chip manufactures here on our turf rather than overseas. I think that is a good thing.

Taiwan Semiconductor makes the chips. A silicon foundry, for a lack of better words. They are the world's leading semiconductor contract manufacturer (65% market share). They make the wafers and the chips. Companies like Apple, Samsung, Nvidia design the chips then work with TSMC to manufacture them. If you have a computer, game counsel or a smart phone, odds are the chips in it were produced by TSMC.

Unhinged Democrat Al Green Speaks After Getting Kicked Out of Chamber — Wants to Impeach Trump Again!

by Jim Hᴏft Mar. 5, 2025 7:30 am

Chaos erupted during President Donald Trump’s congressional address on Tuesday night as unhinged Representative Al Green (D-TX) threw a tantrum, disrupting a speech meant to unify the nation and highlight the administration’s bold vision.

The disgraceful outburst forced Speaker Mike Johnson to intervene, ordering the Sergeant-at-Arms to kick Green out of the chamber like the disgrace he’s proven himself to be.

But that wasn’t the end of Green’s unhinged antics — he’s now doubled down, vowing to push yet another baseless impeachment against Trump.

As President Trump was outlining his administration’s achievements and future plans, Green rudely interrupted, shouting that Trump “has no mandate” to enact his policies. His childish and desperate attempt to derail Trump’s address forced Speaker Johnson to intervene immediately:

“Members are directed to uphold and maintain the quorum in the House and to cease any further disruptions. That’s your warning,” Johnson warned.

Green ignored the warning and continued shouting, leaving Speaker Johnson with no choice but to order the Sergeant-at-Arms to remove him from the chamber.

“Finding that members continue to engage in willful and concerted disruption of proper decorum, the chair now directs the sergeant at arms to restore order. Remove this gentleman from the chamber,” Johnson said.

And just like that, Al Green was escorted out like a tantrum-throwing child who couldn’t handle the reality of a strong and successful Trump administration.

According to the AI chatbot called Grok, which was developed by Elon Musk’s company xAI, there is a “75-85% likelihood” that the person who delivered the State of the Union address on Tuesday night is a “Putin-compromised” Russian asset.

In describing Grok, by the way, Musk said it is a “maximally truth-seeking AI, even if that truth is sometimes at odds with what is politically-correct.”

Like, for example, determining that his good buddy Donald Trump, who has given Musk free rein over every aspect of the federal government, is most likely a Russian asset.

REMINDER: It Is Offensive And Possibly Illegal To Photoshop Anything On These Democrats' Signs That Would Make Them Look Foolish

Headline Says It All · Mar 4, 2025 · BabylonBee.com

The Babylon Bee would like to kindly remind the nation that photoshopping other words or images onto Democrats' little signs is super offensive.

Please, do not do anything to their tiny Brazilian steakhouse paddles to make the Democrats look foolish. That would be very disrespectful and probably against the law.

We thank you all for your kindly cooperation in this matter.

I was flipping through the channels this morning and briefly landed on that misnamed channel called FREE SPEECH TV after I saw recently censured lizardman 🦎 Al Green. My wife walked into the room and asked, " Where are his eyes?" Ya, weird huh? He has two horizontal slits for eyes.

Rep. Al Green's heckling leads to punishment: What it means to censure a politician

USA TODAY

The U.S. House of Representatives voted Thursday to censure Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, after heckling President Donald Trump at his congressional address Tuesday.

"You don't have a mandate," Green said as he interrupted Trump's speech to a joint Session of Congress. Green was ordered to be removed by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.

The resolution to censure, introduced by Rep. Dan Newhouse, R-Wash., noted Green's words on the floor were "breach of proper conduct." It passed largely along party lines, with 10 Democrats voting with Republicans in favor of the resolution and two lawmakers voting "present."

But what does it mean for a lawmaker to be censured, and how common is it? Here is what to know:

What does it mean to censure someone?

A censure is considered a severe public rebuke of a legislator brought by other members of Congress, a form of punishment second only to expulsion.

The U.S. Constitution allows for Congress to "punish its members for disorderly behavior." Censure is a formal disapproval intended to discipline members of the house.
