HHD folks. Rained overnight and more coming. Gonna try to get in a 5 miler but prolly get somewhat wet. Another colder and wetter storm is due tomorrow and is looking to continue into Friday which is the start of the spring Goodguys car show weekend. Likely gonna miss it this time.

When do you head to Little Rock?
What will become of the greyhound adoption work?

Heading down in July!

Not sure. We started fostering greyhounds because it was a nice way to give back to the community (and we could have dogs without having to pay the miscellaneous costs associated with that). Odds are that we’ll stop fostering for a bit because my wife and I want to start having kids. Maybe once the kiddos are older, we’ll start fostering again or get a grey of our own. We have an order of operations here: Finish PhD > have kid(s) > get job > buy house with big yard > get a grey. That’s the plan, at least.

I suggest skipping the kids and going straight to the grandkids.. more fun, less hassle and cost... 😟

Wife and I went and looked at another house today. Pickings are slim, but I am patient... Our realtor, less so...

Ignore the realtor. Only your needs matter. Mrs. Beach and I looked for 2.5yrs before we found the one that worked for us. Realtor would ask us after every showing if we wanted to make an offer. Eventually sat her down and said, when we know, we will be sure to let you know.

You are 100 % right.

I officially moved our client status with the realtor from "this will be a nice quick transaction" to "crap they are picky and know what they want..."

We have been looking for over two years for another summer home in the Prescott area. Our realtor knows just what we want and sends any that meet that criteria without being pushy. The right place is out there somewhere.

Happy Thursday smokey folks.
