So my pastor called today asking me to recommend the finest cigar to be gifted to a visiting pastor at our church next week. He intends to purchase a full box.

Without hesitation, I recommended the Padron Anniversary Maduro 1926. It's been about a decade since I smoked my last one.

Did I steer him right?

Imho you did fine. Unless the visiting pastor is a connoisseur, for the vast majority of casual smokers, Padron is recognized as a Top 3 brand. And as far as the PAM26 series, it is easier to find than let’s say, Fuente OX. Heck, even if the VP is a serious smoker, he’d still be stoked to get a box of 26’s.
