Kyle Petty crashes and caution is out -- and Dale Jarrett wins the UAW-Ford 500 under yellow.

Jarrett is credited with first place for being ahead of Tony Stewart at a scoring loop. Ryan Newman finishes third with Carl Edwards fourth and Matt Kenseth fifth.

This is the first win at Talladega for a Ford driver since Jarrett on Oct. 11, 1998.

Kyle Petty's car was all beat up from hitting the outside wall then sliding to the inside wall and hitting it!!!

but the fan's were going wild as Dale Jarrett pulled his car to a stop and then the cameras focused on Kyles car....moving sideways...but moving....towards the finish line!
he was determined to finish the race by crossing the finish line !

it was a good race, marred by alot of bone-head moves that could have been avoided!
(sour apples i know)
but johnson was just in too big of a hurry too soon in the race.......those that are patient usually bid better at the end!!!

Mark's not totally done! He's still got a chance but it won't be easy!......hated to hear him talking like there's alway's next year ! Rusty got a raw deal too by getting caught up in all the accidents.
oooooooooohhh ! that #48!!!! i was wishing real hard that he'd blow a motor!!!
oh-well.....there's alway's next week! hehehe
get out the voodoo doll of j.j. and throw it at the wallas he's coming out of turn 1 hehehe!

sorry saturn07!!! i believe your good people!!! it's your driver that ticks me off!!

and a quote by micheal waltrip:
"what a ride!! I rolled a few times and when i came to rest i was looking right at the Arrons dream machine!
I thought i was dreaming!!"

(Micheal Waltrip drives the Arrons dream machine in the busch races).....that's odd to have that happen!!

and the official points are...after Talladega:

1. +4 Tony Stewart Leader
2. +1 Ryan Newman -4
3. -1 Rusty Wallace -76
4. -3 Jimmie Johnson -82
5. +1 Greg Biffle -98
6. +2 Carl Edwards -100
7. +2 Matt Kenseth -111
8. -1 Jeremy Mayfield -112
9. -5 Mark Martin -138
10. -- Kurt Busch -180

my "sour apples" opinion.......johnson should be down here in last place for causing that big wreck!! but he got lucky and wasn't hurt bad enough !

(EVIL GRIN)
There's alway's next race!!!!
hehehehe!

i'll have next weeks race thread up in a little bit !!

;^)
