At that age, they'd have long since had me wrapped completely around their finger and I'd have become a far too indulgent parent ... the problem would begin at about the age of 14, when the pendulum would swing and I'd lock them in the back bedroom using a double hasp while mumbling some vague promise to consider letting them out at 21 for double-dating ...

Yep, that's an adorable kid ... it's good that you're her dad and not me, 'cause 10 years from now, she'd HATE me ... LOL ... hope you do a better job than I would.
