I'm lying here scarfing up morphine like kool-aid and reading the forums when my wife brings in the mail. Including an unexpected priority mail box with my name on it. Enclosed was a very nice card and ten primo sticks. Just blew me away and made my day. I didn't have a Partagas on the place, but I do now, more than one, and the good stuff. And every one of their traveling companions were primo and sticks I really enjoy. What a nice surprise, these are some fine folks. Thanks for brightening a dreary day you two.

I'M SMOKING !!!!

Tuck, I was pissed at myself after I mailed it. I just finished my first batch of jerky. Would have made good packaging. Get better bro.

Not Alton's jerky. My own spicy hot teriyaki flavor. I like it but teriyaki is a bust accord to the cbid crowd.

hoss, I use yoshida's as a base. I add Tabasco, liquid smoke, garlic powder, famous Dave’s wing spice, Tony somebody's Creole spice(very hot). I mix with the meat and put it in my vacuum sealed marinating tub for a few days. MMMMmmm. It seems mild until you have a half of a piece eaten, then it starts to catch up. Not really hot, but with just enough hot to make you get a beer.........

Oh, you'd look for any excuse to get another beer! LOL...it sounds great Rug, i've yet to master the jerky thing. A lot of master hunters/smokers in my family, but i'm not one -- i trade wine for smoked meat with my uncle when i've got a hankerin! I've smoked salmon once after a charter trip, that was good.
