This wise guy who calls himself Cigarhusker has been posing as a Newbie. I offered to send a newbie a few smokes to give him some to try. Sent him a nice selection of mild to medium smokes and let it go at that. And then suddenly today my mail lady came to the door with a hard look on her face, and an armfull of boxes in her arms. The heaviest was a big one. This so called "newbie" hit me with a nice selection of primo cigars - - - and - - - NINETEEN CD'S. Can you believe that??!!?? Merle, Cash and a whole bunch of my favorites. And Christmas CD's, and a whole range of Gospel music I'll enjoy. Many of the CDs were brand new, still sealed! If this generous brother is a newbie, he learns fast, and is one fine brother. Thanks Husker, for the surprise, and a mighty fine gift. I'm in your debt.

And I forgot to mention . . . this generous guy didn't put his name on the box. I had to do a bit of detective work to find out who sent it. Generous and annonymous, now that's a brother. Tuck

Hey guys, I can't count (just ask Hoss). Closer inspection of the CD's revealed that there were more than 20 of them. Some were double CD albums. Including a classic Don Williams CD (I love that guy's music). And of course since I knew John Cash as a friend, I collect everything he recorded.

And Husker, you're wrong, I like all those Christian groups. I have Harman Kardon speakers with my computer, so I just drop a CD in my CD drive on my laptop and listen to the tunes while I'm terrorizing the boards.

My wife has a CD player in her car, and one on her desk at work, so I'm sure some of the CD's will disappear shortly.

Thanks again for a super surprise. And if any of you goobers out there have any John Cash CD's, we might work out a little trade.

Well, I'm glad you like the Christian ones. The only reason I thought you might not is that I asked you once if you liked contemporary Christian music, and you indicated (at least I interpreted it that way) that it was kind of hit and miss for you. Either way, I figured those CDs were going to a good home! All's well that ends well, eh?
