I got your end today. Four and a few extras? The 4 Gurkhas agreed upon, plus 1 Gurkha Regent, 2 Gurkha Centurions, AND a Montecristo CDA Royale Delacroix! My extras will be needing some help, I am in your debt...look out!

No mail? What about all that talk about sleet and snow from the post office? Give him a stopwatch for Christmas 🙂

*sigh* i need to call up the local USPS postmaster here, its 5:50PM here and still no sign of the mailman today... he usually misses a day about once a month and i've kinda grown to accept that, but now it looks like 2 days in a row... 😞

No mail for two days in a row? I'd be at the post office. Makes me wish I put something in the box to keep humidity.

i'm pretty sure my block is at the very end of his route, we always get mail around 4:30 to 5:00. i got an aunt that works in the distribution center here, sorting the mail and she told me that the delivery guys get salary pay instead of hourly, now why the guy would want to spend more hours in the job is beyond me...

Comp time! One good raise and I'll be getting comp time instead of overtime. There is an overtime cap and I'm about to go over it. Extra vacation days are a good thing 🙂

13th? I'm pretty sure I sent them out before then. They should've been there for sure. Let me know if they don't show up Monday.

I don't know what happened, but I must have given you the wrong DC # before. I sent the box out on the 10th. I have a stack of DC slips on my desk and they're all close numbers. I must have mistyped.

Your real # is:

0305 2200 0000 3986 0693

I have the slip on my desk, postmared Dec 10, 2005. If its not there Monday, I'll resend. Hopefully they're just slow with Christmas traffic.

i'm pretty sure thats the same code i've been using when i throw it in the tracker it says:

"Your item was accepted at 12:31 pm on December 10, 2005 in TACOMA, WA 98413. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later."

i mustof missed typed that 13th on my last post... but hey, dont worry about sending another package, think of it as a ROAK from me, i'd feel bad if you sent a replacment package 🙂 i'm pretty sure they are just really slow right now, since my Mom has also been waiting for a couple of packages from the WA area for a while too, they are probably just bogged down

I talked to a friend of mine who delivers mail. He said there aren't any mailmen on salary (he trains new drivers and has been with the Post Office for many years).

He says if its a Rural Route, the driver is paid by how many stops he has and the amount of mail. So he gets paid the same whether it takes him 6 hours to deliver or 10 hours. So it kind of looks like salary, but he is getting paid to stop at your house so he should be stopping at your house every day. I'd complain.

Oh, he also said today is the busiest day of the year for mail.

whew, those little guys had a journey! got off work about 30 minutes ago... I found this really banged up box at my door, and i mean banged up, there was a couple of really good hits on it, looked at the address, it said "Drathaar", so i quickly brought the box in thinking "oh know, the little guys got beat up in a dark alley!" i opened the box and pulled out what i thought was the baggie Drathaar put them in, but instead pulled out 2 spent bags of gourmet air, it seems they took the bullets for the guys on the trip, then i spotted them! 2 CAO Brazilia Lambadas, 2 CAO Black Bengals, 2 Perdomo^2 Milenarios(?), and a H. Upmann Rothschilde Tubo! and all of them look great! the baggie was still sealed and they dont seemed dried out, so i'm gonna see about enjoying one of them Brazillias tomorrow morning(freezing-my-ash-off weather permitting)
