well, you may have had the sticks as a newbie...i can tell you this AS A FACT, they do NOT sell those where i live! trust me, they stick almost exclusively to ISOMs...to get dominicans, i gotta trade for them.

I honestly dont want to ruin it for anyone but come on if you really want to be a good BOTL, pass on your saving instead of making a steep profit.

the fact that this deal does not get any attention in the other borad proved that the FOG know thier stuff on the other broad and know it is not a good deal.

I got a box, tried couple from the box and didn't like them... looked around if these were available anywhere and they weren't... others were selling them at higher prices than I originally got them so why did I have to sell them at lower price when they easily went at the higher price... I did make it public that I bought them for less... so, what was the question you wanted to ask me?

We probably have a different understanding of what being a good BOTL is...

The reason I posted this here is because this board has the highes number of newbies who might want a 'limited availability' sampler rather than a full... heck CBid has Work Of Art Naturals going right now for ove $10 a pop... how much would WOAM's go for here?

Good example is LaLuna. let's say... It was bought for one price, it was tried(stick or two) and decision has been made to sell it. At the moment of selling average price on named sticks is higher than "purchased price".

Should it go below the market while others are selling it higher?

Another example. I received a box of cigars as a gift.

I tried a couple did not like them. Put them on sale on the board. Which price should I put? The price I got them for(gift, so price = $0) or market price on the board?

Another example. I bought the box of cigars. They were sitting in my humi for 1-2 years. Now cigars are discontinued. Noone is selling them besides a couple of retailers which have the price which is 3 times higher than I paid for my sticks. I decided to sell these sticks. Which price should I put? The one I bought them or the market price these rare cigars are selling around?

Try to answer these questions. Look at the situation from different sides. And you will agree with me at least deep inside.

You said that you were here long enough... So you probably got some WOAM, Anejo, OpusX... and you probably paid MSRP or below... right? I'd like to be the first to offer you price you paid for these.

This is a trading board not a for sale board. If your intention is to score the La Luna and make a 100% mark up that's fine with me but maybe you should sell the stick in the other auction site.

Yes, I have plenty of special funente, I know you may not believe me so I will try to take a picture tonight for you. Again, this is not a selling board, this is a trading board, if you want to trade, I will be more than happy to depending on waht you got to trade but I don't think I will sell you any. Go to some other acution site if you want.

Also, the reason I metnitoned that I got plenty of special fuentes is because someone said I don't know what I am talking about. Just trying to make a point

That is why I gave you those examples. And I did not say anything about selling on THIS board. I was continuing your topic when you were saying about "other board".

And the only point of our disagreement is that I say that cigars might be for sale with market price while you are saying that price should be equal to price you got them for.

That is why I said that if you want to prove your point than sell to me some of your sticks for the price you pay.

I also feel that you in a hostile mood against me. While I do not have anything against you. At all.

And I do believe you that you "have plenty of special funente". That is why I asked you about them and told you that I would like to be the first in line.

I do not have "special funente". I have never even tried neither OpusX, nor Anejo nor WOAM.

I do not have "decent" sticks to trade, so I cannot offer you something you would be intersted in spite I really want to get such a sticks.

I apologize, now it seems as I am just arrogant. I am sorry that this gets out of hand. Grishuha, I really don’t want to fight with you anymore, but if you must know I just took a count of my humidors and here are what I have currently.

1 seal box of Hemingway signature, 1 seal box of Hemingway SS, 1 seal box of 858 natural, 1 seal box of Cuban belicoso SG. Plus about half a box of each of this in singles.

Special fuente, I have 8 forbidden X, 8 opus and an Opus A, a bunch of Anejo, Hemingway signature, classics, untold stories, and masterpiece in maduro. Also, a few 858 SG and rosie, 6 BTL and a few other special fuente, total come to 96 of them right now.

And if you must know I have just ordered 4 boxes of the Christmas Opusx, 2 white and 2 blue, a box of King B and some other which will come in a couple of weeks.

I know you won’t believe me, so I took pictures and it will be in the pictures section soon. I currently have over 270 fuente cigars, I think I spent way too much on fuente cigars but they are great. I will post the pictures of the Christmas Opus for you when I get them.

Now, I have done it, I totally sound like a jackass, I really don’t mean it to be like this, sorry all. And if you must know, here is the price I can get your cigars for and it’s already higher than MSRP on some.

I personally think the original trade offer was fine. Anejo's, UTS and WOAMS are not easy to find. If I was a noob I'd jump on the offer. I can buy Sig's all day long for $150 on the net where I may never be able to find these cigars at all never mind MSRP. Some of you are lucky and live in urban areas with big B&M's that may get these when they are available but alot of us don't.

I am glad that you can get and most importantly afford all your fuentes... and my offer is not oriented towards you but more towards a newbie... And again if this was offered to me a year ago I would've been all over it...

Your MSRP's are correct, but you are counting at the box price and not at the selling price...

I agree with you that if someone was to search hard and was able to get what I'm offering the total pricing might be close to the price of Hemis Signatures, so in that sense I'm not offering a steal...

But if you count the time someone would have to put in plus shipping costs, without even taking into account that the person would have to spend much more because not everyone would sell singles... I am offering a very good sampler...

Let's see: 17 cigars which include 6 hard to find, 3 isoms and a choice of 8 very good premium and super premium cigars for a box of 25 Hemingway Signatures... not bad IMHO...
