Does everyone save their butts like Churchill did? Personally, I save the wrappers and toss the butts?

I save em and throw em in the fireplace the next morning following a fire. The butts smolder and resulting smoke wafting around outside smells devine. X

My Dad used to save them to make insecticide.

Why did Churchill save butts??
