Before my wife went shopping today she asked me what I wanted for my birthday (Barrymass is Tuesday). I gave her a copy of an email from my local shop:

"We have received six boxes of Anejo cigars, One box of Hemmingway Best Sellers, Two Boxes of Hemmingway masterpiece Maduro's, and Two boxes of Hemmingway Untold Stories."

When she got home she gave me an evil grin and told me that all the tobacco shops were closed today. LOL Then during lunch she mumbled under breath, " Sheesh, that's an expensive hobby you have"

I can't wait!

Well this will be my 2nd time at 23 and 1/2.

I went to an early birthday dinner this evening. My secretary takes my wife and I out every year, (my wifes birthday is Sat. the 21st), and I was gifted a variety box of assorted Cubans by my secretary's fiance. He used to be a world traveler on a cruise ship line and collected them up just for me over the past year. What a guy!

I have to wait untill Tues. to find out exactly what kind of goodies my wife got for me. She knows what makes me happy even if it's something she doesn't like. My wife won't admit it but I think she likes buying cigars for me. She gets personalized service evertime she steps in the shop and she knows more about cigars than she gives herself credit for. She's definitely a keeper!
