I find this a little disturbing ... the fact that CB is starting to auction non-cigar related merchandise. Come on guys ... if I wanted to bid on a watch, for example, I would go to ubid or egghead/onsale ... let's not 'muddle' up this site with a bunch of other stuff, or this site will lose it's identity and become just another auction site ... just like the countless number of sites out there who will auction off anything they can get their hands on, just to make a buck! Personally, I come here to buy cigars, and cigar related merchandise ...

as long as they don't put it in the cigar catagories who cares?? I think the other stuff like watches and radios are fun to see.

... then go to the other auction sites ... there are hundreds of them. This site is named 'CigarBid' ... get it? If this site gets carried away with all that other junk, it will be just like all the others ... not dedicated to cigar aficionados ... the parent site is CigarsInternational. You won't see all that junk on THEIR site ...

You may not know it, but many of the items you see are being marketed by the big cigar manufacturers and their distributors. Swiss Army for instance, they make arguably the best cigar cutter on the market today, but they also make watches. There are incentives offered to Cigarbid when they purchase mor ecigars etc. Besides, Doesn't a classy watch look good on you when you are at the best steakhouse in town smoking a fine cigar which you won on CB???

I seen a show on TV that was interviewing him. He's filthy rich from all that crap! The item that started him off was the famous Pocket Fisherman, go figure.

Not necessarily, but, at least you can keep track of when I'm going to outbid you on the next CB auction!
