What I ment to ask............ Has anyone ever been to a sandals resort? I am going the the Sandasl Grande St. Lucian(newest resort) this comming may. The resort has an english pub on the grounds. I'm wondering if cigar smoking is allowed or frowned upon. If anyone has any insite please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I got back from the sandals resort in Montego Bay and stogies were no problem. In fact they sell Cubans in the gift shop (yes I dared to say Cubans). I hope you enjoy your trip.

I have been to several Sandals resorts, including St. Lucia and in Jamaica. In fact, I am going to Montego Bay next week. They do sell Cubans in the cigar shops, but be very careful. Anything outside the resort is probably fake. The shops in the resort appear to be reliable; however, they are very, very high.
