And having "ski" in your name is OK with me. I too like reading these posts but have to admit I haven't felt the need to post too much on these political topics. I see the good points from both sides, so I guess that either makes me an Independent (if we must categorize) or maybe just a free thinker. Love is good; war is bad--both are needed given the current intellect and reasoning abilities of the human race in this day and age. My faith leads me to believe one day there will be world peace and it leads me to believe we will all be a part of it. Peace to all.

No. I'm not 27, but my faith is strong and in my humility I can see a peaceful end for all. I'm not saying what will come before this great peace, I just believe everlasting peace will be the by-product.

Naivety (as in your example) is not in the equation when you believe, yet some would easily use it in place of belief or faith, and that's fine--I choose not to. It's all about choices and among other choices I make, I choose to believe, that's all.
