I recently got some cigars from my bid that arrived a little dry. they have been in a humidor for about three weeks. The humidor was a little on the high side, 75. The wrappers are flaking off when they are being smoked, not pealing. Any help? Thanks

Were the cigars, by any chance, 5 Vega Robusto's??? I just recently recieved 4 ten packs of these and they had to be the worst cigars (in terms of condition) I ever received from CB. I am returning 27 of the 40. First off let me say that 5 Vegas is one of my favorites, but these were horrible,....not only were they dry and brittle, but the wrappers were awefull, inconsistent in color and texure and looked as if they were rolled by novice. Any body else have this experience.

The following e-mail was sent to customer service today about the 5 Vegas Robusto - 5 Pack:

Dear Sirs,

I have never seen any cigars like these in my life. They are the most barren and brittle pooch projectiles that can possibly exist on this earth. I tried to bring them back to life in my humidor, but they just started falling apart. I broke them open to see if it was tobacco or hay inside and even after almost a month at 70% RH they crackled like they had been freeze dried in Siberia.

I am a new customer to CigarBid and I am not sure how you handle situations like this where the customer tried to re-humidify dried out cigars and then destroyed what was left ( the wrappers were flaking off ) of the uh.... product ( I can't call them cigars ), but I feel somebody ripped-off both of us. I wonder what the story is behind these uh.... projectiles and how they got into that condition.

All the other cigars that I have purchased from CigarBid have been in good condition, but I have to wonder if this is something that I should expect to happen from time to time when bidding on cigars at CigarBid, or is this one of those very rare flukes that happen once in a dozen blue moons.

Will CigarBid make right with either a replacement or refund on this purchase, or am I just out of luck on this one?

Thanks in advance for your response......

I hope they will replace or refund this long after the purchase.

Hey Rick:

Are they smokeable yet?
