use a 54 guage cut out for spaghetti for one. it you are a light eater, back off to a 48.

16 oz package of most dried pasta reads 8 servings per package.Yeah right for a six year old girl maybe...LOL

For most people, pasta is the fastest way to a bigger waistband. I do love my DiCecco #12 spaghetti, tho. Alternatives? There aren't any.

PS, I love my spaghetti al dente. Angel hair goes limp as soon as it hits the water. So I say ptoooooie to your angel hair, Rick, no matter how large your gauge is.

Must be a regional thing,never heard of it...LOL...Most markets here carry Barilla and your basic others, what I like about Barilla is they have angel hair,thin,regular and thick spagetts,I always go for the thick myself.Then again I'm more of a baked mostacholi or ziti kind of guy. Pasta,bring it on baby!
