Anyone have any sage advice as to how to deal with a wife who does not allow smpoking in the house. It's 15 degrees outside and I don't have a basement to hide in. The garage just doesn;t seem like the most comfortable plase to light up. A new wife might be an option, but I would rather explore other alternatives first.

No wife! Then you can smoke where ever you like. In front of the big screen while relaxing in the lazy-boy watching the bowl games. Have you tried the attic? Heat rises! Actually, it is very cold here in Nashville, and I usually do smoke on the front porch, but am finding myself smoking inside with a door or window opened slightly to help with the smoke.

1. You might suggest it is your house also.
2. You might suggest she has something she does in the house, that you object to. For example she should be required to go to a gas station to use the toilet.
3. You might suggest to her she is your wife and partner, not your mother.
4. You might pick a part of the house and put in an ionizer air filter and this could be your special place.
5. You sound like a newly wed. You might begin to think about what else she might not allow you to do in the house. for example, you think about it. A marriage is about two people making compromises to accomodate each other's wants and needs.

I have been married for about4 years. We accomodate each other and compromize in most things and I can understand her not wanting to smell cigar smoke throughout the house. She and the kids need to share it as well. If I had a basement, it wouldn't be a problem. I have my own personal space, but it is an office on the main floor. I have tried stuffing towels under the doors, sealing of the Heating return and using a HEPA filter, but the odor always seems to escape. Any suggestions as to how to vent, clean or otherwise dispose of the smoke?

Candles, mkorn.. Scatter a few candles through out the house.. Also if you have indoor plants add a few to your office, RICKAMAVEN on the other hand and Berry C
have my right Idea hehehe!!! My ex was a Cigarette smoker..But Cigars in the House No Way..it is all in Compromizes.. So there for after 17 or so yrs she is My EX.. Try the Alternitive IE Candles, & Plants Women usually like both.. if that dont work here's my Advise
if it Fly's Float's or F**k's its cheaper to Rent it..
which leaves on Compromize.. You get the Picture

what's the big deal? Smoke in the garage like the some of the rest of us tough guys do. Sub zero temperature doesn't keep me from enjoying an Ashton Cabinet. Quit being a wimp, put a coat on and take it to the garage! No amount of rationalizing will change your wife's opinion, candles, anything, once they are dead set against indoor smoking, forget about it.

Haven't seen the smoke blowing out of someone's arse but there was a gal that could take a cigarette or cigar, insert in her Vajay-jay, successfully light it, "take a drag", and then blow the smoke out. She could also do some amazing things with quarters and eggs.

Nope. Never saw her drop any quarters...going in or coming out.

Dunno, of course, if all of them came out. [gonzo]
