Here is one I built a few months ago. Basically it's a box lined with 1/4" Spanish cedar. All Shelves are SC. Humidifiers are simple soap dishes filled with florist foam and a 50/50 PG solution. Works great. I think and old box, cabinet, are enclosure will work. Good luck

Is that hard wood flooring? It's a cool humidor, I'm curious what it's constructed out of.

Outside it 1" western cedar and the inside is lined with 1/4" spandish cedar. Both woods have the same exapansion rate so I'm hoping the glue between them won't take on much stress. Door is cedar with 1/8" lucite.

Any problem keeping it right next to the baseboard heat??? Won't that dry out the wood/gars?? Being a "dry" heat and all??

you're better off going outside the city to a lumberyard and buying spanish cedar "stock" and ripping it to the dimentions you need. it's much cheaper.
