What a mess at UNC-CH. Players revolting and getting the coach out. Sad day for their school. Athletic dept. has no spine.

He did the right thing by resigning. Anytime a coach loses the respect of the players then it is time to make a change. Since the school administration decided to listen to the player's concerns, he became teh bigger person by resigning and stepping aside. He could have fought for the job and made a real mess of the program, but he was the bigger man here. I gained more respect for the man by this move than by his coaching. to be honest, the school made a mistake by hiring him this young in his coacing career. He only had one year at a large university (Notre Dame) and was not prepared for the pressures that go along with a program with such a tradition as UNC.
