Am traveling south of the border in the coming months and am interested in picking up some ISOM material while there. My ISOM experience includes a variety of Cohibas (of the five I received two were excellent, one too tight of draw and the remainder are resting), and a couple of Bolivar's. Both excellent. Any suggestions from those with experience on what are "must haves"? I read in the most recent CA about the Punch Royal Selection #11 receiving a 92. Bear in mind that I am on a limited budget: one inexpensive box or several 10's and singles.

All help is appreciated.

Buy at reputable tobacconists. None will be cheap. My favorites so far (without disappointment): Punch, El Rey Del Mundo, Montecristo, Bolivar.

If you can, purchase at "La Casa Habanos"...This way, you can make sure that you get the real deal...My advice is that if you are on a limited budget, purchase a box of Quintero Brevas..They are machine bunched but very good tasting Cuban tobacco...Better than any other Machine bunched cuban cigar I've had.....Or even a box of either Ramon Allones, R&J, or Partagas Perfectos (also machine bunched but all of them have a lot of flavor with some strength...For a handmade cigar, get a box of Montecristo #4s...Very tasty!...Have a good time!

Ask for a guy named Pepe. Tell him that Jack sent you. He'll take good care of you.
