I know each of you have a favorite size, let's face it we all do. I prefer a Robusto 5x50 or a Toro 6x50. Anything any smaller in ring size I just don't care for. But I must say it is on a one to one basis at that point. Feedback welcomed.

My favorite ... hummmmm ... I'd have to say either the Corona or Double Corona. I like the way that size feels. Also, any Torpedo, Relampago, Figurado, etc. I can adjust the size of the end that I put in my mouth, depending on how much gets the guillotine.

I only like the thick guage cigars as well, as I often find with the coronas and lonsdales that on average the draw is tighter. I can't remember smoking a torpedo with a draw that wasn't managable. Plus I think there is more flavor in the thicker ring

i bid on and won some casa-blanca madura 6 x 64.
i use a saxaphone strap to hold it up, but it is a good heavy bodied smoke. normally a 6 x 50 is a comfortable size smoke but a monte #5 4 X 40 goes well with a cuppuccino.

Figurados, torps, belis, etc... In 'normal' sizes, a toro or robusto, sometimes a petit corona.

Robustos or larger. Torpedos, toros, etc. The Perdomo "X" size is perfect. I have noticed that Churchills seem to build more in flavor. When comparing the same brand, the Churchills seem to build and change more as you smoke them. I guess because they're longer. But, I usually don't have time to smoke a Churchill.

Robustos and Toros! My absolute favorite cigar is a Montecristo # 2(Cuban)but not an overabundance of those in my humidors!

If I were offered 4 boxes of Fuente Opus X or 2 boxes of Montecristo #2's.....I would take the Monty's!(Cuban of course)

Robustos, figurados and torpedos. I would say that 80% of all cigars I smoke are Robustos.

I wonder how many other threads have posed the same question? 🤔

I feel this is a spur of the moment decision for me. Also depends on the specific cigar. Fine example is the fonseca from my father. Hated the corona. Liked the toro..

I love the robusto and despite reading a couple of not so glowing reviews about the corona, bought a 5er...to my dismay.

But, not a total disappointment, I just like the robusto more.

Next time I send something to you (...no, not threatening...), I'll try to remember to send a robbie to you.

I think I told you I hated the corona. Not to trash my father as it’s one of my go to manufacturers. I hated the corona. Sooo in your face black pepper. After 6 months even. From what I gather the jibaro is that way. The jibaro #2 is still a favorite of mine from tatuaje

Yup, you sure did. Shoulda listened to you and the reviews. 🤦

Palama. I wasn’t too impressed. A little let down. It was very in your face peppery notes. I expected it to smooth out in the 2nd third but just never really did. I don’t think I’ll try any other vitolas in that line after that one. In my opinion there’s a lot of other pepin smokes better than that one

Can't speak for the Fonseca, though a pepper bomb can be fun now and again. Generally gravitate to the smaller side, but I'm sure there are exceptions.
