Anyboday catch this? It was actually much better than I anticipated, and I was really surprised with Limp Bizkit's performance of Sanitarium. Too bad there was about a half hour of commercials...

Yes, it was better than I anticipated as well. And I agree about the commercials. Wouldnt have been half as bad if they had more than 4 sponsors! I too was surprised by Limp Bizkits performance. But I was surprised that they actually were worse than I expected. I really dislike that band and all they stand, jump, curse, for. Durst is an A$$. And that chick singing Metallica was just...wrong. Good voice and all, but wrong. Metallica's medly at the end really blew the doors off the rest of the performers. Not including Snoop vuz Im not really sure what that was...

Snoop was definitely weird, I was wondering as well. But I did like LBs performance, eventhough I don't care for them either. I can't believe I didn't mention the medley at the end, that ws definiely the best part!!

My son wants me to take him to Summer Sanitarium for his 14th B-Day at Candlestick, but when I heard that Limp Dickzkit was on the bill I lost interest. But I think I may end up there anyway...UGH I really dislike that band.

I had the same opinion on that last song, hopefully the whole album isn't like that! I basically haven't listened to them since the black album, different music if you ask me...

Black Album is by far my favorite. Which would prompt most die-hard Meallica fans to say that Im not a REAL M fan...Oh well

My fav is justice or lightning, but I don't judge.. LOL

I just look at the fans who've never listened to their old stuff and laugh, they're missing out on the good stuff!!

Metallica was good, before they sold out. Which is after they became too mainstream, which is when they started to fall down-hill in my opinion.
