Hi,

Looking for some expert opinions. I am looking to try different beverages that compliment a good cigar. Okay but here's the twist. They must be alchohol and caffien free. I have tried several non-alchohol beers and I can only palate one that is made by Becks and has a fairly good German beer flavor. As far as coffees go, I find most of the decaffinated labels unappealing.

I need to drink something when I am having a smoke. All suggestiohs are welcome. Can other beverages compliment a cigar? Or am I out of luck.

We use Luzianne caffiene-free brewed ice tea with many cigars. Iced tea seems to go very well with cigars. I guess it's the love of the leaf.

Carbonated water with gars is great and I love it! Some of my friends drink flavored water too with their gars but this is not for me.

I enjoy a decaffeinated Dunkin Donuts iced coffee with a CAO eXtreme churchill. I think the coffee enhances the cigar. Starbucks decaf is supposed to be good but, I haven't had the chance to try it.

Fruit Juices go well with cigars ...

The best fruit juice for me is cran-raspberry. Root beer is also good. Not sure if it has caffeine.

Good dark roast coffee with a medium bodied robusto is one of my favorites. Spent a lot of summers outside the coffee shop.

I do agree with slim about the fruit juices but try this and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.Very dark roast coffee over ice with a little condensed milk and you are in for a treat. I prefer Vienna roast

Kona coffee is the absolute best drink to go with a good cigar, but since it has caffeine in it that won't work.

Try Caffeine free Diet Dr. Pepper. Love it! I also like plain old H20.

Nat; I use and Love a Good Ice Cold Glass of Apple juice with mine and for a change I switch to Apple Raspberry. hmmmmmmmmm it really brings out the flavor of the gar's. Another one I have tried lately is a glass of Ice Tea. Just like dan said it seems to mix very well with the leaf.. TinMan
