I received and email today ... that made me feel that what I, and many others here have been trying to accomplish on these forums ... is, and has been, all worthwhile ...
... and I thought I'd share it with you all.
Before posting this, I asked the permission of the sender ... and he reluctantly said it would be OK, as long as I 'edited' the specifics a little (so as not to offend anynone in particular) ... and that I respect his right to remain anonymous.

Sorry for the intrusion, but I just wanted to acknowledge your wisdom and straightforward approach to AF cigars, especially the high end AF's. High-end AF cigars are probably some of the best cigars around, and your insight on these cigars have made them much more pleasurable to me.
Secondly, you as well as some of the other senior members in the CB Forum, have helped to maintain and keep this forum organized, and to a high quality of 'class' ... with your knowledge and insight on cigars, etc.
As a member now for a couple of years, your approach, as well as some of the other senior members, has been very consistent. I thought about leaving this forum a couple of months ago, especially with an influx of "low-grade" threads and posts and vulgarity in the forum.
Please don't me wrong, there has been a good number of new folks who have come aboard that have added much to these forums ... and are much welcomed. I always welcome and am very grateful for any "free" knowledge and insights on cigars and the enjoyment thereof, as one of the finest pleasures in life is cigars.
Therefore, if I may, I would like to send you a small package as a token of my appreciation, for your presence in the forums. It's not much, but I just want to show my thanks.
