It was just painful to watch. Cubs up 4-0 in the first and we blow it, we friggin blow it. It was a hell of a game and the crowd was unbelievable, but we still friggin blew it.......ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

The only other good thing to come out of it was that I smoked a PAM on the way to the game and a Bolivar ISOM in the bar after the game. Too bad it wasn't a celebration smoke.

Man, there was some despair in my house last night. (Wife from Chicago). Great game, insanely exciting...Sosa finally makes his statement.

More games like this to come, I hope, whatever the outcome (though a Cubs win would be nice).

My buddy and I were sitting in the bar after the game do despondent. About every 5 minutes we would just look at each other and say 'F&*k'. That was about the extent of our post game comments......LOL

Yeah, it was like that here.

Nothing, though, compared to my sister's phone call to me after the A's loss...she's been die-hard for that team for years. Serious despondency in her voice.

The unfortunate thing is that we need Prior and Wood to win every game they pitch. That's our only chance. I doubt that Zambrano or Clement are going to win one.

On the bright side, Arizona did the same thing a couple of years ago with Johnson and Shilling.

If either of those guys do win one then we're going all the way.
