It was a basic disclaimer, though a little bit confusing. I'll paraphrase it the best I can. It says that you cannot be held resposible, and do not condone, any of the above lines, or what they, may or may not mean, according to anyone elses opinion on what they may or may not mean. Kinda disjointed, but it gave me a laugh. Sounded like something I may have composed, in the early years of my legal research. LOL

Frankly, DMV, I am surprised you've gone THIS low, bringing my family into this, making a mockery of what is the most precious thing in my world. I'd hope you'd apologize, but I know you won't. I've had pretty nasty public fights with usahog and Magnafide (with whom I've patched things up), but never in these pages have they mocked my family life.

Most people here are so opposed to my politics that they won't let themselves see how **** this is, what a total and complete **** you have to be to make that kind of remark. But some will know.

This thread has taken a very sad turn, very grade school. I tried to be tounge-in-cheek about usahog's 'conclusion that I am **** retarded' (high irony, coming from a guy who can't spell or use correct capitalization to save his life), and things turned into some sort of 4th grade 'ha ha, someone called you a name.' I am actually embarrassed at this thread.

John, I must respectfully disagree with you and agree with 65gtoman's point, that you have disrespected Christians and Christ with some of your statements recently.

I'm a known Christian on these boards, and I have felt my blood pressure rise reading some of your posts, regarding Christians and Christianity, and terminology.

One other thing John. Just because I may, or someone else may not always say or do things in a 'Christian way', doesnt lessen our credibility as believers of Christ. We are all sinners, and nobody is perfect but God.

Funny how people ridicule my profession and my beliefs, think it is hilarious and pile-on at every chance, but when I make a crack or two about their beliefs (religious or military worship), suddenly I have stepped over some sort of line. If my remarks have been so offensive, I must say, with all due respect, some thicker skin is in order. Especially when I was just being silly. I never attacked beliefs. As I recall, I referred to God as 'dude,' which is not worthy of the press it got, in my opinion.

My criticisms of the Christian right have to do with their political agenda. You enter the political arena and you are treated like everyone else.
