I bought these Eagle single torch lighters people on here told me about. A pack of 5 is (was) about $15 or so. I bought three big 14oz cans of some cheap butane that was on clearance on Amazon (I think it was $8 for the whole pack), and they work great. Typically last about a year if I can keep from losing them. Light every time. When it goes bad, toss it. I lose one, no big loss.

The Ol bic lighter is pretty hard to beat. I have a bunch of cheaper lighters. They usually work fine. My favorites I guess are xivar but I lose stuff too

Six or 7 years ago I won 4 Xikar lighters for surprisingly cheap. Mebbe not cheap, cheap but for a Xikar, it was a GREAT price! Under $10 iirc. I ended giving 3 of them away.

Then ZIPPO STARTED PRODUCTION AND THEY WENT TO COMPLETE CRAP EVER SINCE...

CIGAR PUNCH ON THE BOTTOM OF IT THAT WORKS FANTASTIC...LIGHTER WILL BREAK AFTER 4-6 YEARS BUT
JUST YAKE YOUR FUEL CANNISTER AND PUSH IT DOWN ON EACH OF THE QUAD LIGHTER HEADS TO CLEAN THEM OUT 2-3 TIMES A YEAR ..
( MAKE SURE THE HEads are cool, room temp...not hot as **** after using the lighter, that could explode....but certain IDJITs would try that with out thinking first)

I have at least 20-25 of them, I got them super cheap yrs ago...now they are $24.95 retail on cigars international.

I agree, I accidently bought 2 Perdomo lighters (gift set) and 1 took a dump 2 weeks later, the other one is hanging on by a fine fine thread.

Butane is NOT shippable through regular channels so I hafta buy mine through B&Ms. My favorite adult beverage shpo was out of Xikar butane during the pandemic so I ended up getting a can of Lotus instead. IIRC, it was the same price ($10) so my only concern was whether or not it would clog up my lighters. So far so good and would definitely buy again. 👍

Bought a 2 pack of Ronsons in 2021. One crapped out after 2 months, and the other lasted 2+ years before the ignition failed. Would buy again.

Used to only buy Xikar premium high altitude butane to protect my precious lighters. Got suspicious when guys at the shpo said the different DuPont butanes were the same but with unique nozzles. Now I buy the cheapest butane my local bodega or smoke shop sells, usually $5-6 for a big can. No issues, and I can’t taste a difference (although the gas itself is a bit stinkier).

Large clear tank, nice big adjustment wheel that does not require a @-$+#* screwdriver to adjust. Can eat butane, but you can throw dog crap butane in it and not care cause if it clogs you'll just toss it and use the second one LOL. Been running for awhile now with zero issues though.

I buy these because they are small and thin so comfy in the pocket. $12 for 2, they work well, are made well, and look really nice too.
