what exactly are you disgruntled about?? just curious because most of the things that I see are about cigars and related - and if something else slips through the cracks - Slim pulls us all back in line....

Here's an example or two -
A newbie going on to defend the fact she is not a moocher......
A post on this board that starts off with " I know this is not cigar related..."
and a demonstrated general lack of cigar knowledge or insights or reviews..... but a whole lot of miscellaneous and peripheral...which is ok on the misc board - this is the place for a discussion on Cigar related items - not discussions on character flaws or things that in the writer's own words - are not cigar related.
Nothing personal here - just an observation.

I'll take that shot....but in defending myself as not being a moocher I also included cigar related information on something that I am trying to do which involves cigars. In the future I will refrain from using this particular forum and keep anything else that I may have to say on the misc or trade forums. You may have your cigars and related back....

I agree with you. That is why it is good to have someone like Slim or Al'Thor policing this stuff. Obviously it's needed if people are going to get bent about it.

You beat me to the punch on that last one. I just thought this was supposed to be fun and informative. I don't want to start anything I just feel your original post was a little on the malicious side and would have been more effective with an easier touch. I think the vets are sometimes a little quick and harsh with the newer folks. No harm on my part was intended.
