Back when I used to drink I used to like Tecate. It's the working man's beer of Mexico.

I love Michelob Amber Bock, I like Shiner bock OK and ZiegenBock better than the Shiner. I think most of these beers are only here in Texas, but any other beers that you think would be close to the others I would love to know what to try.

P.S. I really hate Becks, Heineken, Amstel and Guinness stuff, If that helps.

I still love you man

heinekin is watered down water...and Guinness (unless its on tap) is like drinking my own puke. Give me the domestic microbrews...I happen to live in the hometown of the sierra nevada brewery and so show much loyalty to them (hey you can get three dollar pitchers of their stuff somewhere any night of the week) but I also love Anchor Steam Brews, Mendocino brewery, and deschutes stuff out of Oregon...Mirror Pond Pale Ale is probably the best thing going right now followed by Anchor Steam Porter which is a very close second.

Living so close to Canada, we don't ever consider it imported...Labatt Blue. Love it and can't get enough!!!!! I could go on and on and on about how great it is and how delicious it tastes, especially at night after a hard days work, or in the afternoon with lunch, or how it really makes those Rice Krispies go snap crackle pop!!! Imported...The Belgian's really have got it down...Chimay, Corsendonk, La Chouffe, Kwak....all good....USA Microbrews..I agree w/ Ommegang, Stone, Magic Hat...Local... Victory ....It is now 8:40am on a Saturday. Is that too early for a cold one? Or to quote a commercial that I just saw, "You had a beer in the shower?"...Response..'Like you haven't'.

To me the weather dictates the beer. Cooler weather I like the darker heavier beers(Guinness). Humidity sets in I prefer lighter beers(Caribe, St. Pauli, Moosehead and Heineken), but my all time favorite is coming back to the US after a long dissappearance...Kronenburg 1664! Nectar of the Gods! Bishop's Alsace was it's "replacement" as well as some of the Abbey brews, but gimmie my K1664!

I'm with Pablo on the Heineken.

Also greatly enjoy MGD. I think it's imported from Milwaukee. Think I'll have one now.

Domestic: Anything from Barrelhouse brewery here in Cincy. I love the Redlegg ale. As far as I can tell you can only get it locally. I usually go down to the brewery, eat, drink a few and bring a gallon "growler" home for later.

On a hot summer day Tequiza is mighty tasty if you like that taste of tequila and lime in your beer

On another beverage (malt) Mike's Hard Lime is good when you add a little Jack Daniels to it

As long as it is ice cold, I am not a beer snob, but prefer the ales! I do not drink much anymore and when I do, I go for Jack Daniels (on rocks) or Vodka on rocks!

i used to compete in a beer drinking leauge in state college pa. we had teams who competed in th basement of the Rathskeller. We drank cases of Rolling Rock ponies to the point the beer was rolling out of you mouth ,,,,Ive lost my taste for R R. Yuengling is only an hour from my house and arond here it is considered a cheap beer, I do like black and Tan but it is hangover city and at my my age ill pass because i swore off drinkin after hangovers about a thousand times too many. I agree there are a zillon good micro brews especially in Pa but this was about imports. and i still think no one does it better than the Brits.

Imported: Guinness, New Castle Brown, Warsteiner, Kilkenny, Hobgoblin Ale, Fiddler's Elbow Ale

American (Microbrew): Weyerbacher (Old Heathen Stout, Raspberry Imperial Stout, Blithering Idiot Barley Wine), West Virginia Brew Pub (Blackwater Stout, Appalachian Ale) and of course my own creations..... 🙂

American: Killian's Irish Red, Honey Brown Ale, Pete's Wicked Ale, Yuengling Lager, Sam Adams (the seasonals are my faves - Oktoberfest, Winter Ale and Summer Ale)

Canadian: Rickard's Red, Molson Export, Kokanee, Alexander Keith's (best if drank on the East Coast, otherwise it tastes like swill)

... I really, really like beer. 🙂

I'm much more of a scotch guy but I love Stella, Heinies, Becks, Labatts and most porters. Generally I don't like Mexican beers except Dos XX. Domestically Sam Adams is my usual call and I love Anchor Steam.

WOWWY WOWWY WOW WOW!!! Nabaclish? Did you say Kilkenny's!!?? Holy freakin' shiznit. I fell in love with that beer in 1999 while on deployment. World's best beer, hands down, made by Guinness. VERY hard to find here in the US, only the BEST Irish pubs carry it. If you know where I can buy some, please let me know... swn69 at hotmail dot com.
