Yo Rick:

Put down your "Olive Stone Conspiracies For Dummies" book, take off your aluminum foil hat, and repeat to yourself, " I must not make fun of our President The Honorable George W. Bush 100 times.

Rick,
So we are to believe that GWB was speaking to an implanted voice in his ear?

Why do you think it was not to the moderator?
The President obviously went over his time, and this fact is supported by Lehrer's next comment, which was to give Kerry an additional 30 seconds to rebut the rebuttal.

So I again ask: What is your point?

Yo Rick:

Yeah what's your point??????????

Inquiring minds want to know.

I think JonR could use that foil hat too. Mine goes well with my decoder ring.

Yo Thom:

I had a decoder ring when I was a boy. I also had a ring with a jet plane on it, you would press a small lever behind the plane and it would fly off into the wild blue yonder.

wow so now we are double dumb asses.

So much for your reluctance to call names.

I am guessing that you must have graduated top of your college class so that gives you the right to look and speak down at folks. I also surmise that you must be not only a member of Mensa but on the staff.

If not then you are truly more ignorant than I ever thought. At least you allow me to see what I have to look forward to; someday I can be an old and senile maven(I'll just never be rick).

OK, let's agree that there are two scenarios:
1. GWB thought he heard or saw something to indicate his time had expired. Perhaps a movement by the moderator, or a sound from the audience.
2. the President was fitted with a tiny device into his ear canal which allowed him to hear voices from other folks outside the room, feeding him "instructions" on what to say.

Our resident liberal has chosen to believe #2.

Those black helicopters are closer than you think.

Rick,
I don't argue that he wasn't motioned to stop.
See my two scenarios (without the wise 'thought' comment) and realize that you have chosen a very warped perspective.
I recognize that there are many on these boards who tow the GOP line regardless of the situation. But their loyalty pales in comparison to your disdain towards our sitting President.
A high-tech voice-device implanted into his ear?
I can't believe this is even being discussed.

if "they pale in comparison" i must shine in my disdain.

horatio, there is more in heaven and on earth, then is thought of in your philosophy.

do remember the "magic" bullet the killed kenedy, made a turn, went through the governers whoulder and wrist and turned up in pristine condition on a hospital guerny.

we are discussing this because it makes bush's utterances more understandable.

here in a nut shell is what i believe to be the difference between me (and a few others) and the bushbackers on this and probably other boards and those ready to vote for him again.

bushbackers accept the fact that anyone can make a mistake. that bush is a firm defender of the usa and can be depended on to lead us to victory over terrorists, creat jobs, and generally add to the common good.

i believe he is a complete dunce without a brain in his head, who doesn't make mistakes because he doesn't know what he is doing to start with. he is a spoiled, arrogent prick, who has the keys to the kingdom now, and has no reason to question anything he does. he was a drug user and has been able to move through life as though he were moving, instead of being carried by family and friends to this exhaulted position.
i consider his appointment the beginning of the end for democracy because there are so many of his followers who no brains to think with and the little they have is curropted by propaganda from tghe right wing press, the right wing talk shows, and the tv media as exemplified by fox "news."

to those who call me nuts, or any of the other kind words spoken about me, i forgive them, they don't know what they are saying or why.

Yo Rick:

Your hatred for the Honorable George W. Bush has so overwhelmed you, that any political views you spew out are moot. You twist what GW says, you lie about things he never said, and you post nasty pictures of our Beloved President George W. Bush. I have to believe your attacks on President George W. Bush are to cover up your own failures and inadequacies in your life. Rick when it comes to politics you not only don't vote but you don't know ****.

JonR,
A tad too much on the personal level. Chill, my friend.

Rick,
It's OK to want GWB out of office. That's why we hold elections.
But to try and justify your vote by knocking the President down a few notches on the food chain does show an unsettling side to you and many liberals.

Go ahead and believe he is dumb. That's your perogative. But when you carry that concept to the point of believing science fiction nonsense, then you've honestly got to look in the mirror and accept the fact that you should lock your TV onto the cartoon network and ingest a heavy dose of Sponge Bob Square Pants.
