Begging?? Not me, I do not post Cleavage shots to get cigars like other people on here, names left unamed. I have read that newbies are welcomed in with cigars from the club hence my request, btw I live in Cape Haze Florida, near Sarasota. Where is Wesley Chapel?? So how about those Gars, Gents??

Just to clear the air, there IS no "Newbie package" per se. If you want you can go to the trades board and get onboard the newbie trade thread, and be paired with a veteran trader who'll send you a list of what he likes, and upon reciept will return bomb you with a nice sampler. No one I've ever heard from has had anything bad to say about how the vets have done them on the newbie trades. I offfered to send a package just because I'm a nice guy! LOL and because Gorob23 did something very similar for me a year ago when I was the FNG around here 🙂

Ok to clear things up ..... I said "newbie sampler" just to say that some people who I shall not name .... out of the kindness of their hearts sent me a mix of gars to try ...... NOT AS ANY RULE HERE .....I NEVER ASKED.....there was no trade for cleavage .. or anything other for that matter....I showed cleavage with no intention of getting anything in return.... 😉 So some people need to back the hell off.......and just goes to show the kind of person who will be nice to you one min then stab you in the back .... no name mentioned ....

i don't think he was talking about you. there was a guy on the picture board that was "pimping" his girlfriend for cigars once. that was just before you got here. i can see how you might have gotten the wrong idea, but i really don't think it was directed to you. i don't think anyone here has a problem with you. i'm sure more people have a problem with me by far.

Hmmm seem nice enough to me .... but yes I do thing he was refering to me as for some reason he seems to have a problem with me as I posted a thank you for the people who had sent me some gars .... also I ment newbie in the sence of new to gars not Cbid (although I am new to here as well) being the reason they sent me some to try ... I did not go begging for them as some do .... they were offered to me out of kindness.

you know, after i posted here, i went and did some post mining. wow! i think i was wrong . . . again -- that's starting to get old, by the way. i'll keep to my own business from now on. well, i don't have a problem with you flirting with pics and provocative language to the folks here even if it does result in these guys sending you sticks. it's a relationship that both parties consent to. everybody plays, everybody wins.

i, personally, find it more disturbing when people ask for free cigars. there are some great guys on this site that are willing to give more cigars than many of us can afford. it's not cool to take advantage of these people. i've been humbled more than once by their generosity. i'm still trying to pay them back. two return fires hit the USPS today. i've got plans for two more next month. i wish i had the firepower of some of you big leaguers. in time, i'm sure i will.

Get over the "newbie package" and lets move to other subjects! You get cigars sent to you by folks who like and respect you and you also send cigars to those you like and respect! This is all part of the BOTL & SOTL (how about that Marla?)and a little generosity on some folks part!

You do not ask for cigars! You can go the trade boards and make deals to trade for cigars. Enough said by me on this subject!

I must say,
As one of the FOGs that sent Lovelyred a newbie sampler, I did this without any knowlege that any Cleavage, would be involved. I saw a post, from someone who was new to cigars. I sent a sampler to that person, to help introduce her to some smokes that I have enjoyed over the years. She did not ask for them, as a matter of fact, I had to post several times to get her to email me, so I could send this package.
As many people know, I have been known to send out many of these unsolicited newbie samplers, over my 2 years on these boards. Just because I send cigars to someone, doesn't mean that I am after anything.
I used to frequent the newbie trade thread, but it felt too much like a trade. So now I choose my newbies, from all of them. I judge by the posts that they start, and post to. The intelligence of their questions, and their sense of humor. I will continue to send unsolicited newbie samplers, as long as I frequent these boards. I will not respond to mooch attempts, or moochers who belittle the target of any of my newbie samplers. At least from here on out.

I was a proud victim of a homebrew newbie bomb. Completely unsolicited, and I didn't even know what a newbie bomb was. Hopefully I've stood up to his high expectations.

The problem I have with people who ask for a newbie bomb is that you never know if this is someone here just to mooch smokes and run. Happens all the time. People tend to watch your first post or 2 very thoroughly and try to determine if you're here for the right reasons or not. Perhaps your first posts sent a warning signal to the vets? I don't know, I'm too lazy to search for them.
