"'Less than seven months after same-sex couples began tying the knot in Massachusetts, the state is seeing its first gay divorces,' the Associated Press reports from Boston: The first gay divorce case in Suffolk County, which includes Boston, was filed...by a male couple who exchanged vows on May 22, five days after same-sex marriage was legalized. One partner was a 33-year-old religious educator from Boston, the other a 39-year-old professor based in Washington. Since then, the couple said in their divorce filing, 'our interests have grown in different directions.' Each man signed a settlement attesting that the marriage had 'irretrievably broken down.' The most difficult part of the settlement appeared to be custody of their three cats, who will live exclusively with the professor. But 'in recognition of the emotional hardship of such relinquishment,' the settlement reads, the professor agreed to provide his ex 'with periodic updates, photographs, and any health-related information pertaining to the cats.' One wonders why two men would have rushed into an ill-advised marriage. After all, it's not as though it could have been a shotgun wedding." --James Taranto

Now the majority of the time to woman takes half. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm either way this will confuse lawyers but at the same time gives them more business. Watch the divorce rate go up even more now.

It's a shame people divorce. It's one of the most painful things a human being can endure.

I know, because I've been through it.
The main problem was too many nights out with the boys.
I finally put my foot down and told her she couldn't have them anymore.
LOL!

Seriously though, I'm surprised to hear about your wife, Beatdragon.
Hog told me that she was a lot of fun! Oooops.

well the bottom line is... if your not gettin any at home... someone else damn sure is... that well don't dry up when that Ring goes on...

as beat said None for 12 yrs... I was in the same boat with my first marrage... everybody in the neighborhood was smiling accept for me ;0)

neightbor didn't think it funny when I handed him the mortgage payment, electic bill and the rest... I'd a gave the SOB the credit card bills also but the Judge drew the line on that one!!!!

Marrage should cost $250,000.000 off the top like rolled away in an esgrow... then if there's a split do it 50/50 divided between if there are kids... it rolls over split into the kids accounts and the parents are stuck with nothing....

Glad I married a nympho. Once the ring was on and we started sharing a bed, seems I'm late to work an awful lot.

Not to sidestep Burky's sage-like, insightful input but do you know why hurricanes are usually named after women? Because when they arrive, they're exciting and wild, but when they go, they take your house and car.

Love may be blind but marriage is a real eye-opener.

Then there was a man who said, "I never knew what real happiness was until I got married; and then it was too late."

Ok, that's enough cheery cut 'n paste for this morning.

You know that only 12% of men kiss their wife goodbye when they leave their house. However, 98% of men kiss their house goodbye when they leave their wife.
