Now there's a picture to brighten up my morning: A house with 2 **** and 3 cats = lots of licking going on while "Caberet" blasts from the stereo.

And you know, in these things, it's always the cats that suffer.

Bet they like Barbara Striesand music as well as the cats and Cabaret!

Did you all hear of the two same sex marriage couples that were going from LA to New York for their honeymoons? One couple was 2 gay men, and the other couple were lesbians. They were both driving to save money and see the sights along the way. Do you know who got to New York first?

The lesbians.

They were moving along Lickety Split. And the gay men were still in LA packing their sh......

SORRY...an old joke that I heard from a lesbian.

Serves em right. Same-sex marriages, how stupid is that. Heck if your happy packing fudge or munching carpet why do you have to advertise it to the world. I know the lawyers are happy now they twice the legal cases and if you've ever been to Southern Florida you know the gay community has money running out the crack of thier Arse, pun intended. And as far as lesbians are concerned they never look like the ones in the movies. Honestly have you ever seen anything as homely as the women that make up that society. This reminds me of an old joke.

There was a robin singing in a tree. It was freezing cold and snow covered the ground. The Robin froze to death and fell from the tree. Along came a bear who took a big dump on the robin, the warmth of the dung thawled the robin out and brought life back to his body. The robin was so happy he began to sing. A near by bobcat heard the singing, dug the robin from the dung and ate him. The moral of the story is this. . not everyone who craps on you is your enemy. . not everyone who gets you out of a crappy situation is your friend. . and if your warm and happy in a pile of dung. . keep your mouth shut.

Bloody, do you have a spare bedroom?

I'm thinking of taking some leave time, just to come visit with you and drink beer and smoke cigars.

Your sense of humor is right in line with mine.

Every time I read your posts, I have to put my coffee down for fear of an ASNR. Acute Spontaneous Nasal Reflux. (shooting coffee out my nose)

*ASNR is an acronym coined by a local radio station that has some really funny bits.*

Shawn (MACS), there's no accounting for mental illness...(sleep deprivation helps).
You always said I was a farty smeller. LOL!!

A number of the botls (including you and me) post on cigarbid for the camaraderie, a couple of laughs, a little debate, maybe some info, or a break from the drudgery/stress of work---not to get into pissing contests, pontificate, or gloat. As you've said in the past (I paraphrase) this is a cigar board and shouldn't take itself too seriously.

Guys like you and me don't--ok, ok, to stay within the theme of this thread, how about a smoooochie?

Kidding aside, I enjoy speaking with you & respect your service to this country.

I'm a married man so I don't "ping" anymore, my e-mail is: mdi (at) maranatha (dot) net.

I've tried and tried and tried and I just have to put my 2 cents in. I have to be very careful and proof read this a couple of times to make sure I don't burn any bridges with the BOTL that I love to talk with so often. Oh, did I say love when refering to men? Oops, wouldn't want you to get all freaked out, I apologize.

I can't believe how afraid of gays most of you are. I feel very strongly that you are extremely close minded on this issue and I'm glad that this way of thinking and segregation will die with your generation.

Many of you know I'm a freshly married father. I've made very close friends with several of you. However, I wonder how many friendships I'd lose if I came out and said I was gay. I bet you I'd lose a lot more friendships then cause friends to actually think "Wait a minute. This guy is gay and completely normal/cool. I'd like to herf with him someday."

This is the same closed mindedness that kept the unwed mother's shelter from being built in my hometown. It was turned down due to public outcry that unwed mother's are sluts, hoes, whores, should have used protection, should be abstinant, etc. Well, I can't wait until the "public" has a daughter that gets knocked up when her pill doesn't work or the condem breaks. By their misguided way of thinking, we should not save that young boy who fell down the well because he shouldn't have been playing by the well in the first place. Wake up, the world is changing, and morals are changing. The world does not and should not adapt to you, so you must adapt to it.

I'm sure this close mindedness will not completely die out, much in the way of racial hatred. However, hopefully it will fade into the minority as my generation raises children to love instead of fear, care instead of segregate, and herf instead of hurt.

Yes, yes, I agree, cexshun...Are you gayish?

What do you mean gayish? I'm not a metrosexual, if that's what you mean.

No, not at all, cexshun.

Are you a married man who enjoys weekend Indian retreats with other men?
Retreats where you beat a drum as you chant and get in touch with your inner, vulnerable side?

Not that there's anything wrong with chanting naked.

Are you asking if I'm a "Promise Keeper"?

No, I don't really get into organized religion and their retreats.

^Nice "re-direction"! LOL!!!

BTW, Promise Keepers is a non-denominational gathering of men who rededicate themselves to the worship of the Lord and to being better fathers, spouses, sons, etc. as they strive for higher ethical & moral standards.

Not a bad thing, eh? I've often thought of joining.

Are you stammering, cexshun? Don't be afraid.
Promise Keepers ARE a bunch of t-shirted bullies who will cow you with love and acceptance, but I'll protect you.
Besides, belief in Christ won't hurt you.

Man, it's tuff to work and parry with you at the same time!

Just kidding with you, brother.LOL!

Hey bloody. I wasn't taking shots at the Promise Keepers. I was trying to get you to realize that "Retreats where you beat a drum as you chant and get in touch with your inner, vulnerable side" is the same gross generalisation made to a group that you find very worthy and honorable. I'm surprised that someone such as yourself that I can only assume walks his life with Christ would look down upon me for simply spreading one of his greatest messages. When I discuss how I love everyone and hate nobody, you make the generalization that I am "gayish". Yet when someone does it and wears a crusifix on their neck, they are good Christian men. I do not fear Christ. We are all children of God, which makes Christ my brother. I have problems when His name is used to facilitate hate towards another group of brothers. You do know that the KKK prays before and after every meeting, don't you?

My mom's brother (consequently, my uncle) is a FLAMING homosexual. What I mean by that is he is blatantly gay and doesn't care who knows it and I think that's great.

He is a great guy with a sense of humor that could make a menopausal woman laugh her uterus out.

I am pretty open minded about gays and I do not make judgements on them because I am not qualified to do so (that dubious distinction is reserved for Jesus). With that being said... it doesn't mean I have to approve of their lifestyle.

I can love and respect them as fellow human beings though.

And yes bloody, I said 'love' in reference to another man. LMAO!!

Because you could no longer be a member of our Armed Services?

LMAO, just kidding MAC. Come on now, that was funny. 😉
I won't ask and you won't tell.

cexshun... that policy for the military has seemed to go away with the Clinton Administration...

not that it still isn't in place... but Brass works out the issue's of open door policy's and this is one at the top... where Gay's previously started speaking out openly they have now been pretty much quiet in the matter...

I myself am like Macs on the issue.. I have friends who are Gay and have had Uncles who were also... both deciest (aids) and one was Married...

I can get along in life with all lifestyles...

Cexshun, don't underestimate your friends. Most would accept you regardless. I was teasing you when I asked you if you were "gayish" not labeling.

IMHO, morals do not change from generation to generation. They are absolute. You cannot convince me that deviance is acceptable because we are becoming more "enlightened" as time progresses. Just look around you are thing really better? Maybe in some respects, but not in most. I do not try to judge the person only their actions.

If you reread my posts, you will note that the "gayish" comment aside, I joked about matrimony in general not specific to homosexuals.

The other posters may have been a bit ham-handed in their comments, but I suspect all if not most would gladly help a brother in need- homosexual or not.

Shawn, I haven't received anything yet- sure you got the right address? I'd ask you for yours, but I'd hate to PRY!!!!! ;- )
