STOGIEDUDE’S SPRING PASS


Below are the rules to the box pass. When we get between 12 and 15 members signed on I’ll kick it off.
Rules (second verse same as the first, thanks to cexshun and kdotline for these paraphrased rules):

Please note, this box will contain some hard to find cigars and some super premiums. Newbies, do not take these premium cigars unless you have a cigar of equal or greater value. If you're not sure, ask first!

Most are common pass rules, but some are particular to this pass.

Newbies MUST have at least 1 trading reference from a current cbid member. Reference must be emailed (name and email) before I add you. Sorry to the super newbies with no refs, but if I am putting in Super Premos and gars from the home of Castro, I need the piece of mind that this will not be robbed/ripped off. Any vets who want to vouch for particular newbies, feel free to step up. This pass has a 4 move minimum. You must take at least 4 gars from the box and replace them with at least 4 of equal or greater value. No trading up. Translation: Do not put 2 $5 sticks in trade for 1 $10 stick! I would like to keep the trades in the same flavor profile. That being said, I mean that if you take a full flavor cigar try to replace it with a full flavor. If you take a mild cigar replace it with same.
Try to keep the turnaround time on the box as short as possible. Please post all puts and takes to the thread for approval by pass participants. If the box needs work like humidifier charge or something to that nature please feel free to take care of it.
These stogies are going on a long journey through several climates and will need attention ever few stops. Inside the box will be a form to list your takes and puts.
Also in the box is the pass order. When you receive the box cross your name off the list and when your turn is done send the box to the next person on the list.
When figuring the value of a cigar to trade, please use the same site to compare both cigars. With that being said I have a cigar price database I can send to anyone who wants it. This spreadsheet simplifies price comparisons.
Each individual cigar in the pass is in its own cello or baggie. Please make sure that all trades are in cello or a baggie for transit. With this many cigars going out we don’t want any damage to unwrapped cigars. I will include stickers and a marker to label each cigar you take with a number. As new cigars are added to the box, please keep the numerical order going for the cigars (96,97,98)
But the most important rule to observe on this pass is this: Have Fun
