I would like some opinions on what are some of the strongest cigars you guys have smoked.

Bolivar Topedo ISOM is about as robust as I have encountered! Legal ones, CAO Extreme, La Luna Fuerte, Excalibur (some, not all) to name a few!!!! Charlie

I've had both Excaliburs, LL MFuerte, eXtremes. All good smokes. But one Opus X literally floored me New Years Eve. Damn! And it wasn't a nice experience. Have another sitting. Probably will for some time yet. LOL!

I was at a party once and some one had a philly blunt that they opened up and added somespecial tobaco to that was pretty strong.....

Honduran Punch and Cuban Bolivar have consistently been rated as strong. I agree. But the Cusano Killer Cameroon, of of today's "in" cigars, is more potent. It's really quite an exciting experience having balance and fine bouquet, although being a bit rough. I haven't had a Bolivar since 1979 so maybe they're not the same now. If you want to experiment, take the remnant of any cigar, even a mild one, then smoke it in a pipe. You won't believe how powerful it becomes.
