remember gw is also the product of a family that put money over anything else.

remember jeb is not much of anything and niel or neil is a near do well being sued for divorce because of numerous infidilities,

are there any ozzie and harriets left? I can appreciate when someone doesn't like someone or someone's politics etc and everything. I just think that some people go wayyyyyyyyyy overboard on the political posts. I can appreciate strong beliefs and everything, but when it gets personal that's where the line should be drawn. There is really no need for name calling, cussing and the like. I like to think we are all adults on this board. I know emotions take over sometimes, I'm guilty of it sometimes on the July expecting board that I belong too when I get hormonal and agitated I post something I really shouldn't have and have to take the flames and then apologize for what I said, but I don't get as bad as people on this board do. There really isn't any need for it, as far as I'm concerned. Everyone has a right to their own opinions on any issue brought up on these boards. I may not agree with you or you agree with me, but that is just how things are. To call people names and the like is childish. As the saying goes if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. As one person on the July expecting board said - type all that you want in the box and get it all out and then x it out, calm down and come back later and answer something in a calm manner. When you post something that is calm, to the point and not filled with attacks and cussing you will be taken more seriously. I know what I've posted here isn't going to make a lick of difference to many, but I just felt I needed to post it. Just don't make me take the sandbox away and put you all in the corner LOL

Maven, Give me examples of how you know(not think or feel) his family put money over anything else? I know that this might be a shock but, you wanting things to be true doesn't make it so. I know it's the only way to find things to back up your opinions.

He is a great man becouse he does what he thinks is right for America. I think he's wrong on several fronts. Unlike his predecessor, who only believes what gets him ahead or makes him popular. Bush could have kicked the Iraq can down the road and won a second term with ease. He did what he thought was right and stuck to it. The other thing that makes him great is he has given more liberals ulcers than any president in history!

i started out watching this fellow because he was trying to become a major force in politics so i read what i could about his life and his family. the insight i learned from my research gave me the right to give an informed opinion, not a personal feeling.

if you would like some books to read for research, i will be happy to either send you some, or give you a list of titles and you can do your own searching.

i can hear the wheels, can't i. all these books are probably written by bush haters so they aren't trued or worth reading.

make your own decisions, but do as you suggest, make them informed.

by the way he would have been "reelected" if he pissed off a podium into a crowd. diebold took care of that.

the phrase "reelected" is a misnomer. you can't be "reelected" if you haven't been elected before.

He was elected the first time and the second. If you dont like the electoral process, then that's too bad. Bush didnt put it in place. He didnt tweak it just for himself. The votes were counted several times with the same outcome.

Before I could tell you my opinion of you research material I would have to know what it was. It's usually not the facts that are wrong, it's the conclusions drawn that are faulty. Bush is from Texas therefore he's in bed with big oil,therefore he went to iraq for oil, therefore he lied about his reasons, therefore the war is illegal, therefore he should be impeached, therefore etc etc That's where bad sources come in. P.s. I hear you are a ornithologist of sorts. I have a pic of a small raptor that eats his lunch on the fence outside my window. I'll post it. You might like it or at least might be able to tell us what he is.
