I'd like to see a private chat area where 2 BOTL can duke it out privately if they need to. Sometimes there are wild diparities of opinion between two folks that can result in extremely heated debate. No need to expose everyone on the board to the disagreement. Let them try to settle it in private.

I understand but sometimes with some of the characters we had here a person should be hesitant to give out their email addresses.

I'd never want to provide an outlet for individuals to "go at each other". We're working hard to avoid this type of culture on the boards. But I do appreciate your suggestion and will file it away.

Please don't get me wrong, I am not advocating that either. I do think however, when there is a strong disagreement, that perhaps stating "meet me over here to discuss" is a lot better than holding the discussion in public forum where others tend to chime in, and in doing so, aggrevate the process.
