I think I'm going to open up a CBID Forum Stress Management Center where people can come and discuss the stress that the forums have introduced into their lives. I will hire counselors to chat with you live via Instant Messaging.

The fee would be 2 cigars. One for me and one for the counselor. Only Premiums/Super Premiums would be accepted. The counselors would listen to people's pointless drivel until they finish smoking the cigar.

Obviously, if you need counseling, you cant be a counselor. However, if you show progress over a period of time, maybe we'll hire you as one of the "success stories".

Sound like a good idea?

I've been lurking/posting on this forum for almost 6 yrs and many people come and go without hardly any changes to this forum layout... many members are still posting and many just surf on over and post on occassions... I've always enjoyed coming here, meeting new folks who have one thing in common and finding many who have allot in common... It's not the forum that needs to adjust.. it's the individual poster who needs to adjust to the forum.. Period!!

four comments:

1. the "I got reprimanded and now I want to start a whole new thread to whine about" it is getting to be tiring and generally develops into yet another post that people need to be reprimanded for...

2. Perhaps if people have a problem, they should take it to e-mail, either with the administrators of the board, or better yet with the person they have a problem with and leave it be

3. If you feel that you can't post without calling people names, using foul language, or any othe violation, then perhaps you should stay away from certain boards. Keep in mind that this is not some random board, it is a service that this company provides for us. Giving them something else to worry about is just one more headache.

4. Give steve a break for one freakin day...he must get rather tired of babysitting grown adults on a day to day basis.

SteveS - I got rid of 160 pounds of ugly fat in one day about 8 years ago.

I have been on these boards for about a year and a half and have never seen Hog follow anyone around....there are some people on the board like that, I don't think Hog is one of them....

Wagner... your attempt to drag into a confrontation is frivolous... we have agreed not to get into discussion/debate and the only time the two of us have been in such close quarters that I can recollect was on Charlie's thread?(which I considered fairly civil?) all other topics I have pretty much refrained from a discussion with yourself? I had offered a few times to yourself, if you have a beef with me here was my email usahog(at)hotmail(dot)com and we could take the discourse off the forum.. at which I believe you balked at?

MACS(SW) - You have good timing. I closed the thread prior to you posting. However, I temporarily opened it back up to edit a post, then quickly closed it again. Luck had it, you snuck in while I was editing!
