Blister...I am not sure if I am diggin taking two ISOM's and not replacing with any ISOM's.

I would like to keep some ISOM's in the rotation for trading. I think if we allow BOTL's to take ISOM's and not replace with any we will be looking for other BOTLs to put some in down the road which is not fair to them.

Just my thoughts.

Ok Chief,

I understand wanting to keep some ISOM's in the mix.

My rational is that a box of 25 Monte #4 and San Cristobal El Principe can be delivered to your door for about $125.00. I believe the Anejo's and WOAM's would be close to double that.

Let's try these then if you prefer.

Takes:

CAO MX2

Cusano Exclusivo

San Cristobal El Principe (ISOM)

Puts:

Partagas Black Clasico

AF Work of Art Maduro

H Upmann Vintage Cameroon Belicoso

Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure #2 (ISOM)(unbanded)

Maybe we could get some input from others receiving the box on what they would prefer? I could do it either way, depending on the preference

Blister. I understand what you are saying about having some delivered for 125 to your door. But you must also keep in consideration that not everyone can afford to have a box sent to their door either and this might be one venue that they maybe able to trade and try ISOM's that they might not have tried yet.

AS for the preferences for the person recieving the box that might be fine as long as he is willing to pick up the slack.

I would like to keep atleast two ISOMs on board to it interesting as well.

Quote-Maybe we could get some input from others receiving the box on what they would prefer?

I value the input from other BOTL/SOTLS on this board that I know well. However we allowed in the past for the rules to be altered no posting of the puts/takes and that when the box got to me it was full of gas station dog rocket crap.

But hey Blister if you want to take over the KISS box pass then be my guest.

My 2 cents: I tend to steer clear of the super premis in box passes mostly because I don't have a large stash of supers to add as puts.

I do believe that puts should be similar in price, and profile as the takes so the box maintains variety for the people down the line.

I hate to sound like a parent here but I will. Be nice! Both of you are fine BOTL and both have made valid points. If you both compromise, say BLISTER takes a Cuban and puts in one of his high dollar sticks. That would still leave 2 cubans and the box in better shape as well. Just my .02. Sheesh! kids these days drive me up the wall! LOL! J/K

All joking aside, please, lets keep this civil and have a good time with it.

Erik,

That's the problem when you write something online-you can't get the tone of the writer. I wasn't trying to be offensive at all. Once the Chief suggested the change, I offered an alternative which took only 1 ISOM while adding 1 ISOM. That's perfectly OK with me. Or if anybody prefers, I would send the first suggested offerings.

I can send either package, it's OK with me.

Do what you guys want.

I was just trying to keep the box on an even keel and not to a standard where some BOTL's down the line can't make a fair/equitable trade.

There was no tone, or distention in the KISS comments.

However, I do remember Pancho started the ORIGINAL and was dogrocketed because there was no monitoring. Pancho restocked the box and started it again.....he became busy and asked me to monitor the KISS. I am doing the best that I can to keep yous guys legit.

I need to step up here.

As I look through my list of puts and takes, I lowered the ISOMs in the box by 1, and added a few more cigars including a PAN. If we need another in the box, I'd be glad to send another Monty #2, PSD4, or El Pricipe to the next addy recieving the box.

I think its a good idea to stick to ISOM for ISOM,

However, not only is the WOAM and BTL more expensive than the ISOMs proposed, they are actually more rare.

I think Blisters proposal was more than fair, we just need to clarify our rules and live with them. Isom for ISOM seems the easiest way to do that.

Let me know where I should ship the stray gar... I'm glad to do it.

After reading the exchanges I felt that I should add a word or two. Some brother may like to try an ISOM but can't because he doesn't have one to replace it. As long as the stick he puts in it's place is equal to what he took (in value) I think that it is okay. The last pass around I place two ISOM's in the box as well as a few others I didn't take any If when I get the box this time and the ISOM's are low I will place a couple more in the box. This is supposed to be fun and give us a chance to try a cigar that we haven't had Again this is just my two cents.....Charlie

But you shouldn't have to restock the box with ISOM's either Charlie. In that case....BOTL's can just sit and take the ISOM's and wait for the box to come around again and take those....not ever put in one ISOM.

Charlie your a stand up BOTL for your actions. 🙂

Now I understand on another board why a Top Notch BOTL does his box pass Virtually....he sends a list you tell him what you would like and what you want to put in return. ISOM/ISOM...Super/Super. Etc. Then you send him the gars and he sends what you wanted once he has approved the trades.

Like I said do what you guys you feel is right on need to do.

Charlie....could you pick up the monitoring of this KISS? If not then whomever wants.

hey R6 -

I don't think anyone is trying to be difficult, and I appreciate what you are doing with this pass. I just wanted to make it right if I had done something wrong 9wasn't sure if I did or didn't). I hope I came accross that way.

If you don't want to be a part of it anymore thats cool, but don't do it out of frustration or anger. I'm thinking we all want to do it right.

I'll abide by any rules thrown out and promise to better the box next go around.

just my 2 cents - e me if I'm missing something

OK, the box is headed my way last I checked.

Blister, either seneriaeo works for me. ( I know the Sp?? is wrong but I'm too tired to run spell checker - my Pack lost last night and my Red Sox lost tonight).

Chief, thank you for taking it this far. You've done awesome in keeping the puts/takes in check and the "I want ins" in que... It takes a lot of work to keep passes on the up and up while you're bombing the **** out of others... (side note: you're still in my sights and I found your addy on the Hitlist at the other place, just gotta let the embers burn out)

Also, thanks to Pancho for re-seeding the pass it from the dead. (now there's an addy I'd like to bomb, err... add to my Christmas card list)

I'm willing to take the batton from here for the next lap of 10 passes or so. But I hope that I can count on the folks upstream AND downstream to help with it (I think that was the spirit of the pass anyway). Can we all try to monitor it? We shouldn't have to run a recess/hall pass thingy.

I'm looking at the list and don't see anyone who's outwardly evil. Well except for

I agree with da Chief in respect that others shouldh't have to reseed with ISOM's but I'll take the WOAM and/or the Anjeo and replace an ISOM. Easier for me to get the ISOM's than the Fuentes listed above.

BRING IT ON , RIDE IT OUT, HAVE SOME FUN (and don't tell my wife)

Everyone chill and smoke whats youse gots.
