ahhh, I see . . . .bet against your favorite . . . . good strategy Wes, but it still ain't gonna work . . . . see, the way I look at it is, the stress of the chase is going to cause Matt Borlands brain to implode from the excessive mathematical computations he'll be performing at such a high level . . . . coupled with the prediction that Nascar doctors will finally discover where the 12 has been hiding the traction control ever since they were required to put the electronics on the dash . . . . . namely, up Ryan Newmans ass . . . . . thus eliminating any chance he has of winning the chase . . . . but all won't be lost, because when they remove the traction control, they decide to do Alltel, Sony & Mobil a favor, by replacing it with what most folks refer to as "a personality" . . . . . .

Also are we playing winner takes all? Possibly letting the winner pay 25 0r 30% to 2nd would increase everyones chances. Just a thought.

thank's joining us and for covering the list while i was at work!!! i was just looking at the top ten drivers competing for the cup and thought up this "Championship trade"! looking on it now.........yeah! it is a pretty good one!
I thought 1 cigar for the champ (a premium)
then i figured it wasn't worth the shipping to ship one cigar.
and five was a normal type trade so-to-speak.....
then it hit me "how about 1 cigar for each driver in the championship chase"??? (your-normal-everyday-smoke or better if you want)
then it kinda fell into place. i hope the cigar part is ok with all??
i figured that if they were everyday type smokes it would be open for anyone who wanted....
It's really just for some fun and competition ,but you got a chance to fill the bottom of your coolerdor with a decent veriety of smokes.

I hadn't really considered second or third place or so-on.......just a "WINNER TAKES ALL" type game.

as for what quality of cigar??
i had originally said (everyday type cigar) maybe upper grade yardgar since we wouldn't want dogrockets sent.
but i'm open for all of your opinions on this so we all in agree and are ok with it.
i mainly said everyday's so it wouldn't deter anyone that wanted to join (that maybe din't have alot of "better" cigars")
It's more about the chase for the cup championship
and bragging right's and having fun than anything. the stick's are the added bonus in the game!
Personally i really get into nascar ! and i'm hoping you'all like it as well......it adds to the fun if we know what's going on. i watch the races religiously ! that's my sport!!!! i still follow the colts , the cubs,the braves and the pacers (it's an indiana thing! ) but Nascar and Busch stockcar racing has alway's been my first choice of sport to watch !

I knew going in the winner was looking at getting a pretty wide variety of smokes--"everyday smoke" can cover a wide range of sticks. And I know the feeling of being a newbie and wanting to play but a 10 pack of gurkha,AVO,CAO etc would have wiped me out.

I am trusting that most on the boards would not send a ten pack of 1876 (or PI --jk) but make the package sticks they would like to receive themselves.

As for a split, I am OK with winner take all as 'dup posted originally, but IMHO there are enough sticks for a 75/25 split for second place--winner sends to second like other contests here. just my .02
