Sending this out to gauge interest with the vets and FOG's for a strictly ISOM/Super Premium box pass.

Da Chief's comment in the KISS pass thread about using insurance to ship an ISOM pass got me thinking we should get one going!

I certainly don't mind starting this up with a dozen or so smokes and managing the passes through members here, but I think because of the nature of the sticks we're talking about, only trusted, recommended and ACTIVE BOTL should be considered for participation...

FWIW, I think there are a few guys on the boards here who could vouch for me, in case there are any questions about *my* trustworthiness... 🙂

That said, does insuring ISOMs accomplish anything. IE can you go to USPS, tell them what was in the box and collect?

I think we have enough to start on this. My thinking is once we get going, maybe some other BOTL will want to join in, assuming others can vouch for them, etc.

I would also suggest that box code, date, or estimation of age be provided with the ISOMs. (I'd hate to smoke a young'in).

I think we should also establish ground rules regarding value of the smokes. An AF 8-5-SG retails for less than $5; so does a Cuban Beli.......are they even trades??

I'm not trying to be a PIA, just trying to avoid some bad things I've seen.

The 858SG is rare, but you're right, maybe it doesn't belong in this pass. I don't have box codes for everything, but I'm including the ones I do and also approximate dates for the ones I don't. Seriously though....I am a little stumped when it comes to rarities. It doesn't seem right to trade for MSRP, but some passes operate that way. IMHO the host suffers because not many would PUT an 8-5-8 SG in the box and take out a $6 smoke.

Otherwise, I'll be sending this out tomorrow to k9kop (I still have your snailer) and post the DC# here.

Make sure you announce your puts/takes in this thread for group approval before sending on to the next person. Each of you is responsible for getting the snailer for the next person on the list and shipping to them. Try not to take too long before sending the pass on to the next BOTL. If you need more time, just let us know here. We all understand things happen. And... that's about it!
