I am very sorry to hear that. My condolences go out to you. My father in-law recently passed away, and we were close, burning many a cigar together. In fact I was given his old humidor when he died, and I proudly store my most prized gars in it....

i kept passing this thread by, glad i opened it. i have no words of comfort...no one does. people offered their prayers for me when my grandpa died this year. it offered no comfort to hear...but i think comfort, it did. the only thing i liked was the silence and people who were there. we are here.

Sorry to hear about this, sista. The passing of a parent is perhaps on of the greatest griefs this life has to offer. I hope that you had plenty of good times together and lots of great memories. I'll pray that your family will have peace and be drawn closer by this difficult time.

My condolances on the loss of your mother. I know when my father passed away a few years ago it was difficult. I hope your family and friends will help you realize the good things she did. I find it helpful to write dad a letter once in awhile and I feel he is still with me. Like the priest said life is not lost in death it is changed.
